The leader of the provincial NDP believes the Ford government is setting up the people of the province for budget cuts.
Speaking in Thunder Bay today, Andrea Horwath claimed the announcement of a $15 billion deficit, inheritied from the Liberals, is just an excuse for massive cuts to health and education.
Horwarth believes the whole exercise by the government was just a shell game.
The NDP leader insists Premier Ford is going down the wrong path early in his mandate.
She also appeared encouraged by high school students in the city who walked out of classes today to protest the return to the old sex education curriculum.
