A 35-year-old city man is in custody in connection with an alleged assault on the south side.
City police say they were called to a report of an assault in an apartment building in the 200 block of Cumming Street at 10:45 last night.
When they arrived they say they found a 36-year-old man in a hallway inside the building, who was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect appeared in court today to answer to an aggravated assault charge.
