$2.28M Goal For United Way

The United Way is looking to raise just over $2.28 million this year for the many local organizations they support.

This year’s goal is less than what the organization was able to bring in last year over $2.3 million.

Campaign Chair Stephanie Noel tells us “We will always strive to exceed our goal, but we are also very careful in making sure the allocation of funds is very well placed. Fundraising is challenging at any given time and the way we prefer to look at it is to not sit back and dwell on shortfalls.”

She adds your donations will go to improve the lives of many people who rely on organizations supported by the United Way.

United Way officials are hopeful with more employee donation campaigns expected.
