On the charity beat, Ontario Power Generation and Sweet North Bakery are teaming up for an annual fundraiser.
Pretzel Day happens on Wednesday, October 3rd and bakery owner Erinn DeLorenzi explains, as always, proceeds go to the United Way.
“They do a lot of really great work in our community, all year round,” DeLorenzi notes. “They’re dedicated to it. They touch all neighbourhoods in the city, all economic classes,”
2,000 pretzels are made by the bakery, and she admits it’s a special time of year for her staff, calling it a team building exercise for the employees.
