OPP in Sioux Lookout are investigating a 40-year-old man’s death as a homicide.
Police say they responded to a report of an injured man in the community on Wednesday.
Police say the victim was identified as George Tait from Sachigo Lake First Nation.
He was being treated by paramedics at the scene, and was transported for medical treatment where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem is scheduled to take place today at Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
