Poker Run Helping Children’s Charity

A charity poker run got started this morning in support of Our Kids Count.

Spokesperson John Trevisanutto tells us they have high hopes for how much money this event can bring in for the local charity.

Last year’s event brought in $17,000 for the kids’ charity, and he’s crossing his fingers today will raise between $30,000 and $40,000 for their programs.

Trevisanutto tells us the need is growing at Our Kids Count, noting government funding funding hasn’t increased “in a long time.

The event got underway at 9:30 this morning at Mount Baldy.
