Away we go! Start of a “Normal” work week….and back to school tomorrow.
Can’t complain about the summer we’ve had…its been perfect. Looks like this week will be great too – a little rain today though…
So, someone decided it might be a good idea to swim to the lighthouse from Pier 1 at the Marina…. Got me thinking.
1) It would be shorter from the festival grounds….
2) It’s Lake Superior….kinda chilly..
3) Hypothermia is not pretty…
4) Did i mention its Lake Superior?
The swimmer was rescued and going to be ok – but its still a bad idea. Have to wonder though, why doesn’t Marina Park have a swimming area??
