Busy Day At Confederation College

It’s Orientation Day as the new school year at Confederation College gets underway.

President Kathleen Lynch indicates there are about 3200 new and returning students.

The college president adds over 800 international students are also part of the overall total.

Meantime, Lynch says the students will be the first to get a look at the newly constructed tech hub building with the $19-million facility having a grand opening in the fall.

She also notes, the closure of the Nakina Drive bridge on campus could mean some students could arrive late and advises they should plan accordingly.
