MP Maxime Bernier is leaving the Conservatives and plans to start his own party.
Bernier told reporters today saying he wants to be part of an organization that believes in real conservative values.
“That will promote conservative values, that will fight for Canadians who want real change in this country. I will have some discussions with people all across the country and the goal is to have a new party that will represent them.”
Bernier claims the Conservative Party has abandoned conservatives and has nothing of substance to offer Canadians looking for a political alternative.
