In Ontario Votes 2018, the Liberals are releasing their Northern Ontario election platform.
Thunder Bay Superior North candidate Michael Gravelle highlights their promise to four lane the Trans Canada highway from the north to the Quebec border.
“It’s a long project but we do need to have a cost sharing agreement with the Federal Government but we’ll put a permanent fund within the Ontario budget for four laning the highway across northern Ontario.”
Another election promise in the platform includes taking back expired highway maintenance contracts and bringing them back into the public sector.
If the Liberals are re-elected they state they’ll introduce a Gas Price Watchdog who will be responsible for asking companies why their prices are set at the price they are. (Photo and video by Sheri Leviski-Kotyk)
