The work on the new wall on High Street is being postponed by a week.
The City of Thunder Bay tells us it was originally supposed to begin on Monday, instead it will start the following week, the 21st.
That means High Street, between John and Bay streets, and Cornwall Avenue above High Street, will be closed during construction.
The work is expected to take about a month and a half to finish.
