Canadians Sick From Lettuce E-Coli Outbreak

Health authorities in Canada and the US are monitoring an outbreak of E-coli bacteria linked to eating Romaine lettuce.

The lettuce, grown in the southwestern US, is no longer being sold, but has been linked to six Canadians becoming sick.

Some Canadians became sick after travelling to the States, some became sick here, none have died.

If the Canada health agency deems it necessary, it’ll recall the lettuce that’s been bought.
