Forestry & Mining Revenue Sharing Deal Signed

The provincial government has signed a resource revenue sharing agreement with area First Nations.

It deals with money generated from the mining and forest industry.

Grand Council Treaty #3, Wabun Tribal Council and Mushkegowuk Council will be able to share 45 percent of government revenues from a variety of forestry and mining taxes.
