Border Officials Tally Up Weapons, Drugs Seized

A busy year for those who watch over our border.

The Canada Border Services Agency says over 87 million travellers and 5 million commercial vehicles were processed over the past year.

Searches of individuals and vehicles led to the discovery of 2.8 million grams of cocaine and over 14,000 grams of fentanyl.

More than 11,000 firearms and prohibited weapons were also seized. (File Photo)
