The United Way is teaching local high school students about volunteer fundraising.
Spokesperson Sandra Albertson tells us the students raised $6,000 dollars which is being granted to two local organization.
“The granting process is a difficult time, and I think they realized how much thought goes into deciding who receives the grant.”
St. John Ambulance and Magnus Theatre are benefiting from the grants.
