A Ministry of Health report uncovered various areas where workers were not following with rules on a number of levels at the Bethammi Nursing Home.
The lengthy report was released on March 26th after a routine quality inspection was done at the home located on Carrie Street.
It listed numerous areas where it says officials at the home failed to comply with provincial regulations from making sure the needs of residents were met, to the improper storage of drugs, to menu planning
St. Joseph’s Care Group CEO Tracy Buckler claims staffing levels are to blame for the problems uncovered and they’re trying to correct that.
