A Thunder Bay resident is holding to a very personal reason in his quest to be this city’s next mayor.
Expecting to declare his intention to run soon, Ron Chookomolin wants to restore law and order after losing his son Marlin.
The candidate wants facilities and treatment centres that will deal with addictions.
He also says he wants to improve the economy, bring accountability back to city hall, and keep graduating college and university grads in Thunder Bay.
And, he says he’s heard plenty of frustration and anger from area residents.
