No Snowfall Record For February

Contrary to what you might think, the city didn’t get enough snow in February to break any records

Environment Canada’s Geoff Coulson tells us the 55.8 centimetres of snow that fell was short of a decades old mark of 68.8 centimetres set in 1979.

He adds March may still come in as another system could be heading our way in the beginning of next week.

Temperature wise we were colder than normal with an average temperature of -15.2 which is 3 degrees below normal. (Photo supplied)
