Thunder Bay’s Bombardier plant is ahead of schedule on some of its contracts.
Union spokesperson Dominic Pasqualino says they’re completing one double-decker Go Train car every two days.
“We’ve never done those cars that fast ever before. We’ve done those cars for almost 40 years now so that’s really good. We’re probably going to be done that contract in August of 2019.”
Meanwhile, Pasqualino feels Bombardier will be on schedule to deliver eleven streetcars by the end of March. (File photo)
