Police Urge Caution Around High Snowbanks

We’ve received so much snow recently that many snowbanks are very high, and can cause a danger to drivers and children.

Police spokesperson Constable Tana Awosika warns that parents and caregivers should be on alert so children aren’t playing on high snowbanks beside roadways.

If you’re a pedestrian forced walk on the street you should dress in reflective clothing, especially when it’s nighttime.

Police also advise to be extra cautious if you are exiting a driveway or intersection. (Staff photo)
