New Idling Restriction Proposed

If a local woman has her way, city lawmakers will adopt an anti-idling bylaw for all vehicles in the city.

Councillor Brian McKinnon feels that could be hard to police.

He adds there would have to be some study, such as checking to see if it’s worked in other cities.

Nicola Wilberforce is asking city hall tonight to consider banning public vehicles from idling for more than sixty seconds on any day that the temperature is between zero and 30 degrees celcius.
