The brunt of the snowfall is still on its way.
Around three centimetres fell over night and Environment Canada’s Rob Kuhn tells us another ten to fifteen centimetres could fall when all is said and done.
“The highest amounts of snow right now are going to be in the areas around Lake Superior, Thunder Bay, Nipigon and Superior North up that way.”
Our region is still under a special weather statement, and the snow is expected to taper off to scattered flurries this afternoon.
Kuhn feels there is a good chance they’ll issue a winter storm warning Saturday night going into Sunday with another weather system socking the region.
