Hundreds of Canadians, affected by the tainted blood scandal decades ago, say they’re still waiting for the compensation promised by the federal government,
Lawyers representing 500 victims have filed a submission in Vancouver asking courts in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia to address what they say is a $65 million shortfall in that compensation.
The say victims are being denied claims because of that shortfall.
