The Lakehead School Board isn’t making any changes to its so-called school renewal plan.
Superintendent David Wright presented a final staff report Tuesday night, telling trustees that public input hasn’t changed the recommendations of which schools to close.
Trustee Jack Playford called the timelines for renovation and construction “ambitious”, questioning whether work could even begin before the third week of June 2017. Wright maintains the work could be completed in time, saying the dates weren’t chosen at random.
