Mayor Remains Optimistic For Help From AMO

Thunder Bay mayor Keith Hobbs says that continually pressuring all levels of government will eventually pay off for the city.

He and Councillor Joe Virdiramo returned from the Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference in Windsor last week.

Scoring funding for an event centre remains top of mind, as well as help for EMS.

The mayor used the hospital as another example that this city will get funding for some of their requests.

Hobbs further went on to say he continuously has people encouraging him forward, and to ignore the naysayers.
