The federal and provincial government’s are announcing an investment of $1.5 billion for transit in Ontario.
While there’s no mention of Thunder Bay in the announcement, Premier Kathleen Wynne did appear to leave open the hope of more possible work for the local Bombardier plant noting it means more Go-Trains and subway cars for southern Ontario.
Wynne says it also means that transit wish-lists across the province just got shorter. (Photo:Screengrab)
