A coroner’s inquest looking into the death of a Cat Lake First Nations man has been postponed.
The probe into the death of 34-year-old Romeo Wesley was to begin Tuesday in Cat Lake.
He died while in police custody at the Cat Lake Nursing Station in 2010.
A release from the Regional Supervising Coroner’s office in Thunder Bay says the delay was requested by a party with standing in the inquiry so they could deal with an outstanding legal matter.
