Thunder Bay is hosting some aviation history this week.
Two World War Two-era planes are at the Airport courtesy of the Arizona and Minnesota chapters of the United States Commemorative Air Force, and the Northwestern Ontario Aviation Heritage Centre.
Pilot In Command Jim Kimmel says they are flying the restored B-17 and B-25 bombers over town during the week. He adds you’ll have the opportunity to see the planes up-close, and learn about these historic aircraft.
You can also purchase a flight on the bombers while they are in town.
