Opposition Forces Delay In Doc’s Vote

Opposition to a recent agreement brokered between the Ontario Medical Association and the provincial government has prompted the OMA to hold off on a vote on the deal.

The opposition came from a group calling themselves Concerned Ontario Doctors, who says it gathered more than 3-thousand signatures in a petition opposing the deal.

The Coalition calls the deal flawed, ambiguous and will hurt patient care.

The OMA has agreed to give physicians a chance to discuss the deal before the vote is held.
