Province Still Narrowing Down NAN Police Board Choice

It’ll be some time before a member of Nishnawbe Aski Nation can join the Thunder Bay Police Services Board.

In December, the board agreed to allow a NAN member to serve on the board.

However Red River Councillor Brian McKinnon says the province has to decide who that person is, and representatives are still looking. The province has narrowed its choice down to two or three people, McKinnon says, but he doesn’t expect the government to make its decision for several months. (File Photo)
