Al Hackner from Thunder Bay and Rob Gordon from Sudbury share the lead after day one of the Northern Ontario Senior Men’s
playdowns taking place at the Kenora Curling Club.
Both teams have perfect 2-0 records after two draws.
In last night’s action, Hackner upended Mark Brown from North Bay 8-3, while Gordon dropped Bruce Munroe 7-3.
Ron Rosengren from the Port Arthur Curling Club is in a four way tie for third at 1-1, while Kent Maarup from Port Arthur is winless after the first day.
Action resumes this morning at 9:30 with Hackner taking on Munroe and Brown facing Ed Premo from the Soo.
