Councillor Wants Community To Help City

Councillor Rebecca Johnson wants more community groups to become involved in advancing city agendas, as city government cannot afford to as much as it used to.

She says the city is struggling fiscally and she is willing to spend anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 for different groups to take up various causes.

Johnson says something she’s pleased with about 2016 was the many long range master plans that will carry Thunder Bay forward in responsible fiscal sense into 2017.
