There’s concern at EcoSuperior about the high radon gas levels in homes in the city and the area.
It says almost half of the homes tested outside the city were above the national guidelines of 6 per cent for radon gas.
That number drops to 32 per cent on the city’s north side and 8 per cent in south side homes.
Spokesperson Caroline Cox says the unusually high test results have prompted the environmental to reach out to the public once again.
EcoSuperior is hosting a free public workshop on radon gas on November 21st at the Waverley Library.
