St. Joe’s Making Cuts

The number of layoffs at St. Joseph’s hospital is going to be minimal, according to President Tracey Buckler.

This is due to the hospital not getting enough money from the government to operate, when to compared to other hospitals its size. Buckler says most staff will be moved to other areas to save money, and that’s been discussed with concerned patients.

Buckler adds the new Care Stream Model they are implementing makes sense.
