The provincial Liberals are defending their commitments to northern Ontario.
PC leader Patrick Brown says the north wasn’t mentioned once by Finance Minister Charles Sousa in last week’s budget speech.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says there are plenty of goodies for this region.
Wynne says there’s also 300-million dollars a year to support projects in rural and northern communities through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.
