Crime Of The Week – Feb. 29/16

Thunder Bay Police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for the theft of a snow machine.

Sometime between 7:00 pm on February 7th and 8:00 am on February 8th, a snowmobile was stolen from the back of a pickup truck in the 3100 block of West Arthur Street. Police believe the sled may have been loaded onto another truck.

The machine is described as an orange 2011 Polaris Assault 800 with a black and orange seat and a 4-inch crack on the left side panel. The sled is plated with an Ontario license 5AE 903 and a VIN number of SN1CW8GS8BC148235.
