The Ontario government’s budget includes a little bit of giving and a bit of taking away.
On one hand the province will be increasing taxes for gasoline, wine and tobacco.
On the other there’s the promise of subsidized tuition for low income students and free shingles vaccine for eligible seniors.
On the financial side, the budget deficit will clock in at 5.7 billion dollars instead of 7.5 billion.
