The NDP in Ottawa are putting pressure on the Liberal government to take action on the public health emergency that’s been declared by First Nations in northern Ontario.
The leaders have demanded meetings with government officials within the next 90 days. MP Charlie Angus took their plea the floor of the House of Commons.
The government says it recognizes the scope of the problem, but did not commit to a meeting. (File Photo)
