The District Health Unit is out with its list of areas in the city that have the highest radon levels.
Earlier officials confirmed the proportion of homes with elevated radon in Thunder Bay is more than three times the provincial average. A study shows 16% of the 468 homes tested exceed the Canadian guideline for radon indoor air quality
It also indicates that the McIntyre Wards and Neebing Wards have the highest levels in the city. Health officials say they don’t know the reason for that.
