Municipal leaders are sharing their ideas to help ‘move Ontario forward.’
The province was in Thunder Bay on Thursday, as part of a string of community consultations across the northwest, on how to spend the remaining $11.5 billion under the Moving Ontario Forward fund on infrastructure outside the GTA.
Joe Virdiramo says the city would like to see its cut of the funding spent on typical infrastructure projects, such as roads, its water maintenance program, or even on upgrades to our Balmoral Street police station.
Virdiramo adds the government is expected to release a draft report on what it’s heard across the province, in the next few months. (Photo provied)
