The latest Nanos Poll shows that the NDP and the Conservatives are tied for first and the Liberals following behind. The poll asked respondents to say who their local party preferences were.
Lakehead University political science professor Laure Paquette says it appears the local NDP are the winners here. That’s because she believes it reflects the popularity of the party candidates throughout Canada, and not so good for the Conservatives because their candidates are proportionally less popular.
