War Vet Talks PTSD

The Veterans Ride Across Canada is scheduled to stop in the city today to speak about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in military veterans.

Paul Nichols is leading the campaign and says he wants to give veterans a face to their communities. Nichols wife Terry is a therapeutic horse riding instructor and is giving veterans a riding lesson before they take a trip through their home towns.

He says most Canadians think of the men who stormed the beaches of Normandy as veterans but often forget that three generations of veterans have served the country since World War Two.

Below is a song produced for the ride that is dedicated to veterans across the country.
