Ontario’s organ and tissue donation agency says the province is falling short.
Ronnie Gavsie is the President of the Ontario Trillium Gift of Life and says, even through our area has some of the highest registration rates across, there’s still a critical shortage of organ donors.
She notes the province is still plagued by long wait times, and that one person waiting for a transplant dies every three days.
