City Council is going to be asked to ban plastic bags for leaf and yard waste.
Staff are looking for permission to demand the use of paper bags only for the curbside collection of leaves this fall.
Meanwhile, administration is looking for Council to approve a change in price for the second phase of repairs to the Whalen Building.
The contractor, Roof Tile Management’s cost of the project will now come in at nine hundred forty-one thousand dollars.
Council is expected to make a decision on both issues at it’s Monday night meeting. (File photo)
