Graduation Rates Continue To Rise

The number of students graduating from high school continues to rise in Ontario.

The provincial government says the five year grad rate has hit 84%.

Education Minister Liz Sandals says that’s up from 68% from 10 years ago.

The government says it’s getting close to meeting it’s target of an 85% graduation rate.

The four-year graduation rate was 76%, up 20% points since 2004. (Photo supplied)
