Hyde Park Public School is celebrating their current fundraiser for a new playground.
Today the school held an assembly to recognize the efforts of students and local sponsors who are raising money to replace the playground that was burned down in May of last year.
Vice Principal Shannon Jessiman-MacArthur believes the fundraiser bring excitement to the students.
The school has currently raised over 11 thousand dollars towards their 50 thousand dollar goal.
