Damage to a home undergoing renovations in the 200 block of Strand Avenue is extensive, following an overnight fire.
City fire crews were called to the house, off of Dawson Road, around 3:30 this morning.
Platoon Cheif Joe Grzelewski says a passerby had noticed heavy smoke coming from the structure.
He notes damage is substantial, and the incident warrants safety reminders to other homes under construction.
The home was unoccupied at the time, and there were no injuries.
