The Staal Foundation Open is seeking additional sponsorship dollars.
The Foundation announced today its PGA golf tournament in Thunder Bay will see a slew of new events this year, including interactive golf, a women’s day, and a million dollar shootout.
Spokesperson Joe Quaresima says it warrants additional funding. He notes they’re also bringing in more equipment, and have expanded corporate sponsorship to handle that.
Quaresima didn’t give an exact figure for how much more is required, but said they’re going after sponsorship on an as-needed basis. (Photo: Caryn Ceolin)
