REDress At Confederation College

Confederation College is showcasing an art exhibit that focuses on the issue of Canada’s missing or murdered Aboriginal women.

The REDress Project is an installation art project created by Jaime Black, an emerging, Metis artist based in Winnipeg.

Confederation College’s Thunder Bay Campus will host the artwork until March 11th with 100 red dresses displayed throughout each building as well as outdoors on the College property.

The dresses represent all ages and roles that women hold in society. (Photo supplied Artist Jamie Black and Student Union President Chris Cartwright)
