City Police are investigating a collision which took place on Simpson Street near Southern Avenue involving a Thunder Bay Police vehicle and a taxi cab. The taxi did not have a fare at the time of the accident.
A section of Simpson Street between Northern Avenue and Alexandra Street was closed for a period of time but has now been re-opened.
The occupants of both vehicles went to the Regional Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
